Shatta Wale’s comments during his much anticipated show dubbed "Freedom Concert" with Medikal on December 25th at the Accra Sports Stadium has caused a lot of dissatisfaction to Nigerian artistes and Nigerians as a whole including some Ghanaians. On the day of the event, Shatta Wale spilt out comments “they told me that I won’t be able to fill the stadium. I don’t look up to any stupid Nigerian artiste I look up to my fans. Fuck Nigeria”.
Reggie Rockstone, popularly known as the father of hip life in Ghana has disagreed with Shatta Wale in a way. According to grand papa of hip life in Ghana, he made it clear in a comment sighted on instagram that Ghanaians play much of Nigerian music in Ghana and therefore to say Nigerians has some kind of secret agenda against Ghana is never true.
Again, Nigerians love our vibe and sound so we need to stop the negative vibe because we might be young and do not know a dark past between us two.
It is obvious Reggie Rockstone disagrees with Shatta Wale’s utterances in regards to his series of rants on twitter.
