Shatta Wale's Comments On Nigerians Were Unnecessary - Fuse ODG

British singer Nana Richard Abiona, better known by his stage name as Fuse ODG has disagreed with Shatta Wale on his comments he made about Nigerians on the 25th of December during his performance at the "FREEDOM CONCERT" with Medikal.

Dancehall king, Shatta Wale slammed Nigerian artistes saying that Ghana has always supported them in terms of promoting their songs but Ghanaian artistes do not get the same love from them.

"They said i wont be able to fill the stadium, I don't need any Nigerian artiste to sell out Ghana's stadium, F**K Nigerian artistes", Shatta Wale said.

UK-based Ghanaian musician, Fuse ODG in an interview on TV3's Showbiz360 believes Shatta Wale went overboard with some of his comments. According to him, Shatta Wale's comments were unnecessary because there is a bigger battle Ghanaian musicians need to fight which is how to promote Ghana music better. Again, he made it clear that the most important thing we need now as Ghanaians is to support each other rather than unnecessary rants.

"I feel some of the things Shatta Wale said is unnecessary and alarming but I can understand where he is coming from in terms of us not getting the same support from our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. But you know, he could have put it better so with me I don't agree with him. All these are not necessary, there is a bigger battle. We need to support each other", Fuse said.
