I do music as organic as it can be - Sarkodie

One of Ghana's celebrated rappers, songwriters, and entrepreneurs based in Tema, Sarkodie has explained why he featured Cina Soul and Black Sherif on his ''Jamz'' album.

A lot of Ghanaians have criticized Sarkodie for featuring Blacko and Cina Soul must for trends.

According to the rapper in an interview with Boomplay, his reasons for choosing these two artists were that Blacko willingly placed a request to be featured on his new album but with Cina Soul he chose her because he likes her music and how well she is branded.

“I like her music, I listen to her, I think she has a good brand and she looks good.

''I have loved and supported Black Sherif since he began his career and I also appreciated the fact that he wanted to be featured on my new album even though I was through with my production.''

''I have three songs with Black Sherif and will soon release the other two.'' He disclosed.

Most people have bashed Sarkodie for featuring some artists to fit into the trends but he confidently said;

''I do music as organic as it can be, I hate doing music because of the trends.''

Sarkodie's 'Jams' album is a ten-track album that features Black Sherif, Oxlade, Lojay, Kranium, Cina Soul, King Promise, Joey boy, Ink Boy, and BNXN.

So far, the 'Jamz' album has received some good reception even though people have shared concerns about their worries.
