My church did it best to pull me down in my music career but their agenda crashed - Eno Barony discloses

Ghana's celebrated female rapper, Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwa Nyame Adom known in the creative arts industry as Eno Barony has split out a secret about how her church members prayed against her music career.

Explaining the details of her statement, she disclosed her photo was placed before the congregation of her church for prayers.

According to the rapper, the church believed choosing rap as a talent was not from God and thought she was demon-possessed.

“I remember they put my picture in the church and prayed over it that my music shouldn’t work and nothing should work for me.”

Talking about how she had to make herself unavailable in her house when she started making waves on TV and radio she said, “I was hiding it in the beginning. I hid it to the point that I couldn’t hide it anymore because I was on TV, and that became an issue so I had to run away from the house.”

When asked who inspired her music career, she mentioned Mzbel and Abrewa Nana. According to the rap goddess, these female artists unknowingly motivated her to make her music career a reality.

She urged the public to stop judging secular artists by their appearance.

''Everyone is different in their way.'' She added.

Eno Barony made these known in an interview on Prime Morning, with Asieduwaa Akumia on Friday, November 18, 2022.
