Reggae/Dancehall artist, Stonebwoy in his latest interview on Citi FM insisted he is the only artist who has sold the afro-dancehall genre to the world.
According to the multiple award-winning artist, he single-handedly promoted the afro-dancehall genre to music lovers around the world.
“I have performed with Bounty Killer, Richard Stevens, Alpha Blondy, etc on the same stage as Shaggy. "
"I put a lot of effort into promoting afro-dancehall. In all actuality, it was me who sold afro-dancehall to the world. Oh, I am the one.”
When asked if he had plans of organizing a concert in Jamaica one day, he said;
"God willing! that would be amazing. It takes an arm and a leg to stage such a concert there, but everything is possible."
"Actually, I am performing in Jamaica next month so gradually I will get there.” he disclosed.
Stonebwoy will be headlining his sixth annual African-Caribbean concert series, 'BHIM Concert' on December 23, 2022.
Days ago, Stonebwoy was selected to be part of the artists who will perform at the FIFA fan festival in Doha, Qatar.
