If Baba Rahman can play full 100 minutes then I can play for Ghana - Sonnie Badu boasts

Ghanaian but U.S based gospel musician, Sonnie Badu has bashed the Black Stars for failing to advance to the stage of the World Cup hosted in Qatar.

The Black Stars team needed draw or win in their last group game to advance to the next stage of the tournament but results didn't go as expected following their 2-0 defeat against rivals (Uruguay).

Many Ghanaians were not pleased with Black Star player, Baba Rahman after he delivered poorly whenever he was given the chance to play on field.

Due to his poor performance on the field, most Ghanaians have argued he did not deserve to be selected amongst the team's first eleven.

Sonnie Badu adding his voice to the masses said:

"if this guy can still play full 100 mins then I can play for GHANA. Look at the balls he could not even connect?."

"The truth of the matter is this; the senior national team will have to be scrapped. I don’t think these boys will come to Africa to play Afcon qualifiers." He said in another post.

"They should ask Afriyie how some of the hotels and stadiums are .. it’s time to build a new black star and I know @afriyiebdaniel will lead Ghana to win a trophy one day." He concluded.

The Black Stars were playing a revenge match against the Uruguayans after suffering a defeat at the 2010 World Cup hosted in South Africa.

The Ghanaian team was awarded  a penalty in the early minutes of the game but captain of the side Dede Ayew missed it and that caused the team to lose focus on the match and that gave the Uruguayans the advantage to put the ball in our net twice.

Unfortunately for the Uruguay team, they couldn't make it to the next stage of the tournament after South Korea beat Portugal 2-1.

Portugal and South Korea qualify to the next stage after topping Group H.
