One of Ghana's best entertainment analyst, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has declared Ghanaian multiple award-winning Afro-dancehall artist Livingstone Etse Satekla (Stonebwoy), as the originator of Afro-dancehall.
There have been several arguments amongst several music lovers and entertainment pundits on who introduced to the Afro-dancehall genre to the globe.
Sharing his opinion on the matter, Arnold said;
"Stonebwoy has every right to own it (Afro-dancehall), especially because he has successfully marketed his brand, the genre and his nation to and international audience."
"It is impossible to deny his attraction on a global stage."
Even though other Ghanaian artists like Samini, Shatta Wale, and Mzvee, Orezi from Nigeria have all helped in pushing the 'Afro-dancehall' genre to music lovers but Stonebwoy remains the originator.
