Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist, Stonebwoy has quizzed why the prices of services and goods are not being reduced despite the cedi appreciating at a fast rate.
In the previous months, the cedi lost so much value against the US dollar and at an unexcepted season, the cedi keeps appreciating at a fast rate. And this has got many people talking.
While some are happy about the cedi's appreciation, others who earn in dollars are not too happy about the news because they will be earning less when converted into cedis.
As of now, a dollar is GHS 8.00 but most people are worried about why the reduction of prices of goods and services is being delayed.
But Stonebwoy took a bold step to ask why this was happening even though things are running smoothing on the international market.
The BHIM nation president took to Twitter to ask what has been bothering most Ghanaians.
He captioned his post;
"Why be say Dollar rates leveling down nicely.. but prices of goods and services no dey gree to level with it.. You dey feel am??"
