One of Ghana’s stand up comedians Derick Kobina Bonney(DKB), has disclosed he had to dissolve his first management team because they ate his meals when they were not supposed to.
Narrating how he came in the limelight, DKB said he began a professional stand up comedy career while he was a student of the University of Ghana.
“There was a competition held on campus at Commonwealth Hall, and when I arrived, the MC asked whether I could fool?”
“He gave me the microphone despite having doubts about my ability, and after I made two jokes, they declared me the winner. I immediately became a star after leaving the stage.”
“I now have a PRO manager and a road manager. In reality, my classmates were on each side of me, controlling me. Two kebab sticks, two cups of juice, a bag of popcorn, and something more were my prize.”
“I saw my teammate approaching but I never got it. My management ingested my products, and I fired them the same day, despite the fact that you could plainly see oil streaks on their mouths when I questioned them about whether they had received the items.”
DKB rose to fame when he represented Ghana during the season seven of Big Brother Africa in 2012.
