In response to Samini’s claims against Sarkodie, the rapper says he does not agree with everything the singer has said about him.
Speaking on Hitz FM, Sarkodie insisted these claims must have come from a ‘certain place’. And he wishes to have the details explaining everything.
“If you call me and I tell you to take your time, you don’t understand. But it’s all good, him feeling like that I don’t have any control over that, but I can only say sorry to how he feels not necessarily because I agree with everything he is saying but that’s how he feels, my mind is really not on the things he is talking about and to make some things clear, I said it in the beginning I treat things differently from how people will treat things.”
“I wont call it pain because I don’t really care because that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to you, everybody has something happening to them so I get it. He has expressed, if you want to take people to court and say Sarkodie does things for me quick, you will have a thousand people who will also say it, some people will also say, I don’t do things quickly, you understand, I told Bulldog, I just recorded not because the music is not good, you could hear a song that is so good but maybe you don’t hear yourself and you are trying to find the pocket in the song and one day you do it and some songs they send to you like 2 seconds, probably, if I send you a song and you really loved it that moment, you did it.”
“I didn’t figure it out, I’m not talking about him, it could happen as in general so to my brother I’ll just definitely say sorry for how he feels, not endorsing the fact that everything he is saying is what I believe in and think it’s the truth but if he says he feels like that then I am sorry.”
Samini bitterly tagged the rapper disrespectful, fake and ungrateful in a Twitter post responding to a tweep who asked about them collaborating on a song after hailing Sarkodie for delivering his part perfectly on Bob Marley’s ‘Stir It Up’ remix.
A Twitter user by the name @ahenkrah asked:
"@samini_dagaati please when was the last time you entered the studio with Landlord @sarkodie, and when are u people joining again?"
In response Samini said;
"Not sure I’ll need a verse from sark but if he ever does need one, I’m not interested and that’s facts. He knows this himself... )y3 Alo sometimes and I don’t play that. Yes or no be problem for am so e go slow you and your project go dull …he did it to me on burning EP."
According to Samini, Sarkodie blue ticked his messages when he needed him to be featured on his Burning EP in 2021 and Sarkodie does not reciprocate favors, and slows down the work of other artists.
He went on to say that his feature on Sarkodie’s "Love Rock" was done for free but the rapper turned him down when he needed him the most.
"I did love rocks for free under 24 hours. What you talking about lol. He’s just Allo when it comes to returning favors. That’s all. Unlike him I do my own hooks and verses and I don’t need features to blow. Like I die lol. @sarkodie you know what time it is we shoot direct."
"I got nothing against @sarkodie and he knows it. He also knows that he Dey owe me personal apology for the blue ticks after having me send 3 tracks and he choosing 1. After asking me if it was a single or an album, to which I answered, it’s an EP. He’s like coo he’s yet to respond."
