Ghanaian rapper Ponobiom has released a new song titled ‘Yard’. And after carefully listening to the lyrics of the song, the rapper channeled his energy on Ghana’s self acclaimed landlord of all rappers, Sarkodie.
He criticized Sarkodie for getting featured on dead man’s (Bob Marley) song. To him this it was unnecessary.
Sarkodie in the past week got featured on Bob Marley’s ‘Stir It Up’ remix.
The news got many Ghanaians especially his fans hailing the rapper for being the first Ghanaian artist to have a collaboration with the world’s most celebrated reggae legend (Bob Marley).
Other artists including Ponobiom have criticized and mocked the rapper for the milestone he has achieved.
In Ponobiom’s new song, the rapper boasts of being booked for events every weekend and has the best rapping skills if compared to any Ghanaian rapper.
The rapper also announced in his new song stating that anyone who excludes him from the list of rappers from Tema is a complete waste of time.
Below are some of the rap lines of his new song.
“Monkeys, some of your fans will still hail me.”
“Who runs this yard?” “It’s Pono who runs this yard.”
Due to his punch lyrics, his new song is making some waves on social media.
