Ghanaian sports presenter, Countryman Songo says Ghanaians should have valued Bob Marley’s songs instead of tagging him as a weed smoker all this while.
According to the sports presenter, Ghanaians now see the significance of Bob Marley’s songs after Sarkodie got feature on his ‘Stir It Up’ song.
“Ever since Sarkodie and Bob Marley collaborated, Ghanaians have praised him. The word “Ghana” is being shouted.”
“Every time you guys hear Bob Marley’s songs, you guys yell that he is a pot smoker. Some Ghanaians did not appreciate Bob Marley’s work.”
“You people never had the patience to appreciate the sounds, lyrics, and God’s message in Bob Marley’s songs, but today you are adoring “Stir It Up.” He said.
