Ghanaian lifestyle and celebrity blogger, Ameyaw Debrah has disclosed he blacklisted Ghanaian Dancehall artist Shatta Wale for threatening to end his life.
According to the blogger, he has blacklisted the Dancehall artist for the past seven years after his threat.
Shatta Wale threatened Ameyaw all because he thought the blogger was biased towards him in a report he(Ameyaw) did when he was billed for a show that featured Samini.
Ameyaw also narrating his side of the ordeal said, he received a phone call from the Shatta stating he(Ameyaw) should stop writing content about him if he valued his life.
“If you value your life, do not write about me.” Shatta Wale threatened him.
“I then blacklisted him for 7 years or so. I mean if you don’t write about a particular artist and you still thrive in your business, then it means I don’t really care about you.”
“I didn’t feel threatened when Shatta Wale told me if I value my life, I shouldn’t write about him.”
“After that phone call I decided to blacklist Shatta Wale and stopped writing about him. Some of my employees are fans of Shatta Wale so they write about him.”
He concluded that it was never his “plan to bring down Shatta Wale.”
