Ghanaian actor, farmer and politician,John Setor Dumelo has announced his return to contest for the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
On Twitter , John Dumelo captioned his post,
“After an extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithfuls in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This’s the second coming. #Still IDey4you.”
This becomes a tight contest since Dumelo’s opponent Fred Nuamah, who is also an actor and CEO of Ghana Movie Awards earlier declared he will be contesting for the NDC primaries.
Fred and Dumelo are known to be close friends and most people are worried the path the two are taking against each other will ruin their friendship.
The National Democratic Congress will hold their presidential and parliamentary primaries slated May 13, 2023 to elect a presidential and parliamentary candidates for the upcoming elections which will be held in 2024.
