Just like Bob Marley, I’m also the greatest rapper – Sarkodie brags

Self acclaimed landlord of rappers in Ghana Sarkodie narrates how he got the chance to be featured on Bob Marley’s ‘Stir It Up’ remix.

Speaking on CNN Africa, Sarkodie explained that because he is the greatest rapper in Ghana it paved way for him to be chosen as right artist for the project.

According to the rapper, this feature is one of the major music projects he has ever worked on since music career.

Sarkodie could not even hide his joy when the project was completed. He took to Twitter to express how excited he was even though many have criticized him for featuring in a dead man music project.

As excited Sarkodie was, so was his fans.

Sarkodie continued say that;

“In Ghana, I hold the rap title just the same way people associate reggae with Bob Marley.”

“People believe that Bob Marley created reggae and he is the only person who comes to mind when reggae is being talked about.”

“Every discussion I’ve heard back in Ghana has sucked me in for no apparent reason. That resembles the individual they employ. What I mean by “rap” is that I’m like Bob Marley.”
