My dream was to be an architect not a musician – Joe Mettle discloses

One of Ghana’s most listened to gospel musicians, Joe Mettle in an exclusive interview disclosed what he would have pursued as a career instead of music.

During his exclusive interview on Joy Prime, the Bo Noor Ni’ hit maker accepted that he loved music but his dream was to become a professional architect but things didn’t happen as planned.

“I genuinely wanted to become an architect rather than a musician.”

“In the back of my mind, I’ve always known for some reason, I’ll sing or play music. And would have also  continue to work as an architect.”

Joe Mettle also revealed that he commenced his architectural course but had to give up on it because it was hindering him from focusing on his music ministry.

“I once drew blueprints for buildings. I engaged in that for a while.”

“It was such simple architecture that I went to MODESCO to study it because I thought I would be able to continue my education at Tech or another university, but that didn’t happen.”

Joe on the second thought, made a decision to study something he also had passion for at one of the nation’s universities.
