American TV host and comedian Steve Harvey says tourists who want to visit Africa should forget about the negative things said about the continent but should first visit Ghana because it is the gateway to Africa.
While speaking to his fellow Americans, he advised that they put every negative picture that has been painted to them behind and open their hearts and mind at accept the good things and culture the continent has.
He suggested that they first visit Ghana when coming to Africa then visit Botswana as their second destination since they are the second largest producers of diamond and has a lot more offer.
"Leave everything you've ever heard about Africa. After you go to Africa, you got to go to Ghana first, and then you visit Botswana as your second destination then followed by Johannesburg.”
Talking about music, they encouraged his audience to thrash all claims made against Nigeria’s Burna Boy for imitating America’s music tradition.
"Them Africans is us mhen; they are the beat, rhythm and they are the soul.”
“They are hard work and we get our courage from them as well. When you see them people, they look just like your family."
