Ghanaian actress, Pascaline Edwards has dropped a bombshell about a statement her colleagues have being saying to the public.
Most of Ghana’s popular actors/actresses claim they have made a lot of money from their acting careers but Pascaline Edwards on the other side has thrashed her colleagues claims.
Speaking on Onua FM, the actress emphasized that no one in the movie industry has ever purchased a house from the money they earned from acting.
“Everybody in the business who claims to have accumulated wealth from producing motion pictures is lying.”
“Acting makes you famous, develops your brand, advances you to a specific level in the movie industry but the money you receive is very small even though most of my colleagues get rich ambassadorial deals.”
“I will encourage aspiring actors/actresses to look for other sources of income by starting a profitable business.”
Describing the how the acting career looks like in Ghana she said;
“It's a hand-to-mouth business. So if selling groundnuts and maize is what you have to do for a living, do that and add acting as a side gig.”
