American rapper, Chance The Rapper says the Blackstar Line Festival is one of the biggest concert in to be held in the country.
Speaking in interview with Jimmy Fallon, Chance The Rapper, who was so happy about how successive the concert was said, the festival was magical because a total of 52,000 people attended and that makes it one of the biggest concert held so far.
The event which was held in January 2023 saw the likes of Vic Mensa, Dave Chappelle, Asakaa Boys, M.anifest, TPain, Sarkodie and others thrilled fans with mind blowing performances.
“It was very successful, the Black Star Line Fest was magical, 52,000 people showed up so this makes it the largest concert in the history of Ghana."
A lot of people were looking forward to have a second edition of the concert next year but they will disappointed because Chance The Rapper will hosting his concert in another country.
His reason is that, he wants to expand his community spaces instead of building in place.
"I am actually looking to do it again in January, myself and Vic Mensa, looking to do it again, we are actually thinking about hosting the next one in Kingston in Jamaica.”
“We are still working it out in our head and we love the city of Accra, Ghana and West Africa as a whole and we want to just continue to create community spaces and not make it such like stagnant thing so we are just looking any country that wants to host us."
