‘Friday Night’ hit maker Lasmid, says he is so happy he has been given many slots in the various categories for the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
On March 18, 2023 organizers of VGMA announced artists who were nominated for the awards show.
Lasmid received three nominations that is the ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’, ‘Best New Artist of the Year’, ‘ Best Hiplife Song’.
In an interview with Property Radio, the singer said;
“I don't know but however it turns out at the VGMAs it's okay with me because people are saying I deserve an award but I might not even win an award.”
“ We are monitoring and looking forward to it. That's my idea for the nominations I got at this year's VGMAs.”
“If it happens that I win the ‘New artiste of the Year’ that's fine but if I don't win I will continue to work hard even though getting these nominations are a win for me.”
