VGMA nomination: Awards don't define me - Eno Barony

VGMA nomination: Awards don't define me - Eno Barony

Rap goddess Eno Barony says she is disappointed in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) board for not giving female musicians enough nomination slots in this year’s edition.

Speaking on Hit Fm, Eno insisted that she keeps wondering why female musicians are always given less recognition.

Even though Eno was awarded two nomination slots, she is not pleased with the number of slots she was given.

Before the nominations were announced, Eno says she was looking out to be among the best rapper, song and hip hop artist in addition to the slots she had but her name was no where to be found.

“My songs have done very so this year under reviews, online charts, my songs was everywhere."

“Awards don't define me, Eno will still be Eno, it hurts because I have worked hard and deserve to be recognized all things we work harder for.”

“I assure my fans I will work harder to get the recognition I deserve next year.”
