Evergreen Tagoe Sisters launch 40th-anniversary celebration

Evergreen Gospel music group, Tagoe Sisters has officially launched their 40th-anniversary celebration.

The duo has dubbed their 40th-anniversary celebratio‘Tagoe Sisters @40’.

The ‘Tagoe Sisters @40’ will be a musical concert to celebrate the 40 years of their music career as gospel musicians.

Dr. Joyce Aryee was present at the launch as the Chairperson for the celebration insisted Tagoe Sisters are a gift and a blessing to Ghana and the World and went on to urge contemporary gospel musicians to follow their steps to reach the top.

The concert will be hosted in Accra in September and in Kumasi in October respectively together with activities like fundraising for their foundation.

Accra's concert will be held on September 23, 2023, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) followed by a fundraising and dinner night at the Kempinski Hotel on September 30, 2023.

The same activities will be repeated in Kumasi but will take place in the month of the 2nd and 23rd of October 2023 respectively.

Renowned gospel musicians will be billed to grace the upcoming concert. These musicians will not only perform songs of their own but will perform renditions of Tagoe Sisters' collections.

Linmart Media Solutions who are now the official management of Tagoe Sisters will be in charge of the duo's music activities.

As part of the 40th-anniversary celebration, the Tagoe sisters will be paying a courtesy visit to the President of the land, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, ex-presidents John Agyekum Kufour and John Mahama, and Asantehene  Otumfour Osei Tutu II.

As part of the anniversary celebration, Tagoe Sisters will be paying a visit to orphanage homes in the name of their Foundation to make some donations.

Cindy Thompson, Mary Ghansah, Piesie Esther, Perez Music, Abena Ruthy, and other dignitaries were present to support the Tagoe Sisters at their 40th-anniversary launch.

The duo has produced evergreen songs like Fa Bibiara Mano, Menya Yesu, Yedi Nkunim, Okamafo Jesus, and many others.
