Ghanaian artist Quamina MP is of the view that Ghana produces better songs if compared to Nigeria.
According Quamina, Nigeria's music players have more opportunities than Ghanaians because of the investments like marketing strategies, they put in their music which attracts international record labels and investors.
Speaking on Class FM, he said;
“You see, the Nigerians get a lot of opportunities that helps them. They are also many. We Ghanaians are not really plenty.”
Talking about what he meant about ‘opportunities’ he said;
“I’m talking about all these record labels – the big big record labels. I’m talking about good distributions, marketing strategies, people from outside the country investing and all that.”
Talking about Ghana he said;
"Personally, ever since I started, I have never had an investor. Its being me all along even when I was with Ground Up, Chale.”
“My squad, we do crazy music and better music. What is left, is the opportunity for us to be able to spread it internationally so everybody can hear it no matter where they are.”
