Popular Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has urged Ghanaians to be more intentional about promoting their artists only if they want to see them on the global stage.
According to the comedian, Nigerians are more aggressive and more intentional about promoting and supporting their artists. That is why over the years their artist succeed locally and internationally.
Talking about Ghana’s aggressiveness the comedian said;
"Ghana has a lot of great talent, but the problem is that they're not getting the support they need to succeed.”
“Nigerians are more aggressive when it comes to promoting their own, and that's why our music is doing so well."
He also urged Ghanaians to be proactive in music promotion because we have resources Nigerians lack.
Siting examples he said Ghana has better venues and event centers and that is the only advantage they have over Nigeria and so should make use of it.
Ghanaians of late have developed a very strong taste for Nigerian music even though Ghanaian artists produce great songs.
