Popular Ghanaian MC, Kabutey Ocansey has expressed his interest in hosting next year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Kabutey revealed this in on the Showbiz A-Z show hosted by Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM.
“Since it is a season of shooting shots, my goal, my prayer, my desire is that for the next edition of VGMA, please call Kabutey My MC and let’s do it.” He said.
“I mean this in all seriousness. To the entire team, the management and the entire team at Charterhouse, and everybody who is involved in the organization of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, it is a platform that I respect, that I honour, and I see much growth for everyone who has been a part of it along the journey.
“I feel that beyond the fact that there are important considerations for whoever hosts the VGMA, I would like to be able to put myself at the service of the team to add value to the VGMA 2024.” He added.
Kabutey’s appeal comes in after social media users announced their displeasure about the poor performance of MCs who were billed to host the VGMA show.
Kabutey has hosted series of corporate and social events in the country.
