According to one of Accra’s radio hosts, Nana Romeo, if Afrobeats artist Camidoh is not awarded the ‘Popular Song Of The Year’ award, he will walk naked in boxer shorts.
In his assertion, ‘Sugarcane’ has gained much popularity inside and outside Ghana and the right thing must be one because Camidoh deserves it.
Due to the arrangement of the song and the assent Camidoh used for ‘Sugarcane’, apart from Ghana, the song gained popularity in Nigeria, South Africa and some East African countries.
Many people in the East African countries assumed Camidoh was from Nigeria and had to clarify he is a proud Ghanaian.
