Don't always ask for money when seeking for sponsorship - Uncle Ebo Whyte tells creatives

Ghanaian playwright and C.E.O if Roverman Productions, Uncle Ebo Whyte has advised creative arts players to avoid asking money from sponsors for their projects.

According to Uncle Ebo, there are other forms of sponsorship that can seeked from sponsors instead of asking for money.

Speaking as a guest on Joy FM's 'Showbiz Roundtable', Uncle Ebo said;

"Don't always ask for money. Unfortunately, too many event organisers are always asking for money."

"There are brands and companies that will want to support your event but may not have money but they may have products. They may have services." He added.

Citing an example he said;

“So for instance, a hotel may not be able to give you money but may be able to give you space. A hotel may be able to give you some refreshment or rooms. So don’t always look for money.”
