I declined Stonebwoy’s offer when he informed me Aisha Modi will be my manager – OV discloses

Dancehall artiste, Barbara Naa Okailey Nyarko who is known in showbiz as OV has disclosed her reasons for rejecting an offer from her former label boss Stonebwoy.

In an interview with Kwaku Manu, OV explained that she turned down an offer from Stonebowy when she was informed that Aisha Modi would be a manager.

According to OV, Aisha Modi has no experience when it comes to managing artists.

“When Stonebwoy decided to lay everyone off from his Burniton Music Record label, he told me he wanted to work with me the low but Aisha Modi would have to manage me. I told Stonebwoy I was not interested because Aisha Modi does not have any experience in managing an artist.”

“I used to worry a lot after leaving Burniton Music Record label because Stonebwoy is someone I really liked and he knows that as well. I never disrespected him or chose Black Cedi or Kelvyn Boy over him. Till now if you ask me what made Stonebwoy sack everyone from his label, I cannot tell you.” She added.

“I think Stonebwoy was scared of the people around him. He thought we would betray him but all the same, I loved him from the bottom of my heart.”
